Computer is messed up again

Recommended Posts

Posted (edited)

So I got on my computer today and everything booted fine, but then everything froze, and it said that windows has stopped responding. So I restart my computer, and now I can barely get to the log in screen, and if I get there I get stuck on the Welcome loading screen. Anyone know how to fix it?

Edit: While frozen I can still move my cursor around.

Did you try turning it off and on again?

Actually before you do that, check inside your PC. See if there's anything that might've disconnected. If not, start your PC in safe mode and see if you can login there.

Windows 10: https://www.digitalcitizen.life/4-ways-boot-safe-mode-windows-10

Windows 7: https://support.eset.com/kb2268/?locale=en_US&viewlocale=en_US

If these don't work, reinstall Windows via the advanced settings.

Windows 10: https://www.techadvisor.co.uk/how-to/windows/how-reinstall-windows-3535423/

Windows 7: https://www.wikihow.com/Reinstall-Windows-7 (Try all methods if needed)

If all else fails, get another PC or Laptop (if you can) and format all your drives. Then get Windows 10 on a USB or use your CD if you have one.

Windows 10 Creation Tool: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10

Try them out, and get back to me :)
