Jailbreak Changelog

This post will contain changes made to the Jailbreak server.

 

  • All guards can now shoot guns, once they are shot the gun is removed.
  • Warden can now issue mutes on prisoners through !menu
  • Soccer can now be played on all maps that it did not work on before.
  • Members have the chance of getting lock picks when cuffed.
  • Deputy can now also handcuff prisoners. Deputy and Warden have two handcuffs per round.
  • Kill yourself option added to menu, so if you freekill on accident then you should slay yourself that round.
  • Personal freeday option has been removed. No personal freedays should be issued. If someone gets freekilled the warden should either respawn that player or an admin should slay the freekiller and respawn the victim or the freekiller should slay himself with the new option to kill himself. If none of those options are possible then the prisoner just needs to take this L.
  • Cell doors can now be opened on jb_overgrown with !o.
  • Block has been added by default as it is very useful to gun check at beginning of rounds without having Ts stack in each other. Warden can use !noblock to remove the block or !block to enable blocking again.

VIP Changes

  • !refuse is now a VIP only command. Warden can create two circles one red one blue have everyone that refuses go in the red circle and everyone who would like to play the game go into the blue circle.
  • !repeat is now a VIP only command. If you need a repeat just ask over mic or ask in chat for one.
  • VIPs can set event day for next round as warden.
  • Backstab protection for Warden and Deputy once per round.
  • Immunity from warden mutes
  • Laser as Warden to guide prisoners easily. <--- Not a new feature but thought I would include it here.
  • VIP can use painter tool. So they can basically draw something and have Prisoners guess. So basically Pictionary.

  • VIP Gun Menu has been added to jailbreak. Use /locker or /vguns
  • !guns will only activate for event days.
  • /models is no longer a command use /store to set Player Model
  • Fixed bug where CT would respawn mid round if he swapped
  • Added JBShop (!jbshop) this adds features like Jihad, Parachute, Blackout, Heal, Armor, Bunnyhop, froggyjump, etc. View the full list on server.
    • Please note that buying stuff from Jbshop removes credits from !store
    • Items bought from !jbshop are only good that round
    • JBshop items can only be purchased the first two minutes of the round
    • Jetpack and Invisability are vip only items.
  • VIP prisoners who kill guards will earn 2 credits per kill
  • VIP Guards who kill prisoners get 1 credit per kill
  • Alive prisoners/guards who win round earn 1 credit while vip alive prisoners earn 2 credits
  • Each !lr gives 2 credits
  • Each !lr for a VIP gives 4 credits

  • Replaced jb_moonjail_v2_defy with jb_moonjail_v3_defy  
    • jb_moonjail_v2_defy would crash the server frequently

Jailbreak Rule has been modified:

  • Enter, knife, shoot, or damage a vent in anyway, unless you know a prisoner is inside or it is a Hide and Seek day.

  • Updated raffles system on all servers.
    • The first person to raffle decides raffle amount. Ex First person raffles 10 credits... Then everyone else must raffle 10 credits.
    • Increased raffles to 400 credits max
  • Updated some core jailbreak files
  • New hud can be toggled off/on with !display

  • Added new AFK detection to all servers.
    • It will now kick players from the server who are afk in the first few rounds of a map
    • If you go afk in a later round it will move you to spec
    • If their is more than 19 players on the server it will begin kicking afk players from the server instead of moving them to spectator
    • If an afk player is detected a menu will pop up and they will have to click the "Yes - I'm HERE!" option to not be kicked

  • Adjusted the afk checker on all servers
    • If you are detected as afk within the first 29 seconds of the round a captcha menu will open.
    • You will have 5 seconds to select the correct answer to not be moved to spectator or kicked for being afk.
  • !repeat and !refuse now work for all players but sounds will only play if a VIP uses the command.

  • Added x2 credits for the holidays on all servers. Double credits will last till January 5, 2019
    • Instead of earning credits every 5 minutes you will get them every 2 minutes and 30 seconds.

  • Using !call will no longer broadcast a message to everyone, it will only show to admins and the player making the report.
  • Removed damage on freeday, this will allow guards to explore maps which they are not familiar with without worrying about being killed by prisoners.
  • Added 6 new maps to the pool
    • jb_oasisv07_defy
    • ba_jail_future_v2a_defy
    • jb_bigmt_b2_defy
    • jb_chicken_island_b2_defy
    • jb_newyork_defy
    • jb_putin_v2_defy
  • Removed two maps
    • jb_castleguarddev_v5_defy since it is very similar to jb_renegade_v5_defy
    • jb_facility_defy since there are many cell with guns and it becomes chaotic
  • Slots have been increased to 32.
  • Removed fists from guards due to bug that allows fists to do damage when friendly fire is enabled.

  • Chicken fight has been removed as an !lr option
  • Only the last prisoner can now type !lr
  • !math bug has been fixed. Only alive prisoners can answer using !math
  • Freedays have been reduced to 3 minutes instead of 5 minutes
  • jb_clouds_beta02_defy is back, many have complained they don't like the new clouds
  • jb_blank_b4_defy is back in the map pool

  • Last guard no longer has wallhack
  • Changes have been made to chat functions on all servers
    • You can no longer use @ symbols for chat commands
    • /dm <player> <message> - The message portion no longer needs quotation marks
    • /r <message> or /reply <message> - Will respond to the last player that messaged you
      • Players have 30 seconds to respond to the last message they received. Admins/VIPs have no limit since they also have /dm access anyway.
    • /report has been added as an alias command for /call

  • VIP Player Model bug has been fixed on all servers
    • When selecting a player model you will need to wait until next round for it to apply
    • Player models will need to be equipped again as I reset equipped player models.
  • GOTV has been renamed to DEFY TV
    • The delay has been changed to 2 minutes
  • Guns should drop when guards die.

  • Fixed a bug that caused the 30 second mute not to function.
    • Prisoners will now be muted the first 30 seconds of a round. During event days prisoners will only be muted the first 3 seconds of the round.
  • !lr menu will no longer automatically open when you are the last prisoner.
    • This will give a chance for the warden to type !nolr if prisoners were not supposed to !lr on that day such as a warday.
  • Fists have been removed.

  • Fixed a bug on all servers which prevented !voteslay, !votekick, and !voteban to not work as intended.
  • Fixed the map voting bug which caused the servers to repeat maps on Jailbreak.
    • If for whatever reason nobody votes for a map then a random map will be selected.
